Having ten inches of travel on each A-arm, and thirteen inches of lift overall, gives the Prowler XT 4x4 plenty of clearance for rough roads and trails. With hydraulic disc brakes on the front and rear bringing it to a gradual or sudden stop is done with ease.
Thanks to its newly designed engine air intake system, and its noise reducing exhaust pipe and muffler, the Arctic Cat Prowler XT 4x4 runs quieter than many others while still maintaining excellent pulling power and top end performance.
Rated for fifteen hundred pounds of towing capacity, it comes equipped with a two-inch receiver hitch on both the front and rear. The rear box is rated to haul another six hundred pounds of equipment or cargo. Extra items that need storing can be placed under the hood and in the hideaway glove box.
The interior design has not been neglected and features easy to read instruments, including a digital odometer that displays in miles or kilometers with a trip and hour meter. A fuel gauge, clock, and gear position indicators are also standard equipment. There are also dual twelve-volt accessory plugs for any other electronics that may be brought along.
