Used Four Wheelers and ATV's

After you review enough four wheelers, it becomes apparent that every four wheeler is "the best", at least according to the manufacturers. In the case of the Honda TRX 450R ATV, it actually is! The Honda TRX 450R has been ridden to win 3 Baja 1000 ATV titles (as of this writing). You can give more of the glory to the driver of the Honda TRX 450R in all three of those instances, but without the versatility, stability, and the power of the Honda TRX 450R, those titles just might not have been possible!

The Honda TRX 450 is available in a kick start version (the TRX 450R) or an electric start version (TRX 450ER) in case you want a little easier time getting the four wheeler going. The TRX 450ER does have a little more weight to the sport ATV, 7 pounds, which will in turn reduce the quickness of the four wheeler. So if you need a race ready TRX 450, then go for the kick start. Otherwise, the convenience of electric start outweighs the reduction in power availability.

Both versions of the Honda TRX 450 sport ATV have a 450cc engine for maximum power. The transmission is a smooth 5-speed manual which allows the rider to ride the TRX 450 as he or she sees fit.

The Showa shocks, present on the front and rear, provide 8.4" of travel for the front of the Honda 450R and 9.3" for the rear of the four wheeler. The Showa's are preload adjustable so that the ride can be balanced prior to the day's ride, and is fairly easy to change on the fly if the terrain changes.
